Why does he stop Starscream from killing Gears AFTER Megatron got the special personality chip from Gears, which then made him docile enough to the point that they could order Gears into personal slavery & he gladly accepted? Wouldn't that be one more Autobot down, when 1 of their 2 goals was to kill the Autobots?Īnd what about their second goal, why ruin Starscream's on the way to being successful plan of blowing up the entire Earth, collecting the energy & transporting it to the nearby Cybertron? Certainly Megatron didn't fear dying, as he could either space bridge him & his forces over to Cybertron, or just fly there under his own power as we've know that he can travel through space without a ship. From the first moment we see Starscream he told Megatron basically that he wants his job, so explain why Megatron actually revives Starscream when he awakens on an energy rich world with no defenses that can hinder the Decepticons & the Autobots are dead? Why does he ignore his science officer second-in-command when he points out the fact that a weapon that Megatron built appears unsturdy & ready to fail, and then turn around and blame Starscream for it failing exactly as predicted when it does fail? Why does Megatron ignore Starscream when it is pointed out to him that the Stunticons are acting funny, and then lo and behold it turns out that the Stunticons were actually Autobots in disguise?
